JM-110 Direct Instrument Pre-amp Close Window

The JM-110 pre amp is a -10 unbalanced to +4dbm out pre amp for guitar, bass or keyboards. Any unbalanced output that needs to be bumped up to +4 line level.

Its based on the 2520/990 footprint op amp to make it easy to change op amps for different uses or sounds. Its transformer output gives it a nice warm sound.

The JM-110 comes only as a 2 channel unit.
It's not a rack mounted unit for a reason, you can place the unit on the floor or table top to be close to the player, or on a rack shelf.

The JM-110 power connector uses the same pin out as the JM-130 Mic pre, so another power supply is not needed if you already own the JM-130. The Supply is still +- 24 volt so some op amps will not like the higher voltage.

The Jm-410 will reduce your +4 balanced output from your console down to -10 for convenient re-micing of guitars, bass, vocals, drums or whatever you want to put through an amplifier and speaker to "get some air".

Specs: Over +30db input level. Perfect Impedance matching. Best connectors: Gold Switchcraft XLR. Die cast enclosure(Box). Complete Isolation of signals, for a clean, quiet and hum free signal. The very best transformer RE-6110K. Nothing isolates grounds like a Good transformer.

Configuration:
This configuration is for when you want to re-mic a guitar.

Even those with Pro Tools still prefer the real sound of certain amps. This +4 to -10 isolation box enables you to connect a +4 balanced out to a -10 unbalanced input and have a "clean hum free signal" with the amp grounded like it is suppose to be.

This is also the perfect solution for those that have a limited number of isolation booths, but still want to crank that amp up to eleven!

With this set-up, you can re-cut the guitar part long after the guitar player has left, giving you unlimited time to spend on tone, mic selection and positioning. This also enables you to mix both the direct and the amped sounds in your mix.

Sorbothane Close Window
